The Slew
The Slew is a multinational electronic music project, consisting of Canadian DJ Kid Koala, American Dynomite D, and Australian rock musicians Chris Ross and Myles Heskett, formerly of the band Wolfmother.〔("The Slew’s Monster-Rock Mash Turns Turntablism to 11" ). ''Wired'', September 22, 2009.〕
The group first came together in 2005, when Kid Koala and Dynomite D were approached to compose music for the soundtrack to a documentary film by filmmaker Jay Rowlands. In August 2010, Kid Koala stated in an interview that he had begun working on a second album, which is due to feature vocals from Jon Spencer and Mike Patton.
